용인민예총이 오는 11월 23일 일요일,
오후 5시에 용인시청 에이스홀에서
남과 북 청년 예술가들이 함께 만드는
예술 공감 프로젝트 <RE:UNI_ON 예술판-소리> 공연을 개최한다.
이번 공연은 재단법인 통일과 나눔에서 후원하는
‘2025 통일미래 준비사업’의 일환으로 진행된다.
예술을 매개로 남한 청년들과 먼저 온 통일 세대로 정의되는
북한 이탈 예술가 간의 심리적 유대감을 쌓고,
사회통합의 새로운 가능성을 모색하고자 기획되었다.
<RE:UNI_ON 예술판-소리>를 기획한 용인민예총 김수아 차장은
“용인민예총은 이번 사업을 통해 통일에 대한 국민적 인식을 제고하고
동행으로 나아가는 예술적 실천을 목표로 한다”라고 밝히며,
이어 “함께해주신 용인특례시 청년 예술인들과 북한 이탈 예술인들에게 감사를 전하며,
용인 시민들의 많은 관람 바란다”라고 말했다.
공연은 ‘한반도의 광대들’이란 제목으로 용인민예총의 청년예술가들이 첫 문을 연다.
가야금 김태은(용인민예총 부회장), 타악의 최관용(용인민예총 청년위원장), 소리의 박병건(용인민예총 사무국장)이
판소리 단가 중에서도 특별한 의미를 지닌 광대가를 재해석했다.
이어 1장 ‘멜로디’에서는 남한의 가야금 선율과 북한의 성악이 만나 그리움과 화해를 노래하고,
2장 ‘공명’에서는 남한의 전통 타악 장단과 북한의 사당춤과 박편무가 어우러져 갈등을 넘어선 공감의 리듬을 만들어 낸다.
3장 ‘아리랑’에서는 남한의 택견과 북한의 소해금이 분단이 남긴 아픔을 넘어 남과 북이 화합으로 승화되는 감동적인 무대를 선사한다.
4장 ‘마침내 봄’에서는 남한의 무용과 북한의 가야금이 만나 시대적 억압과 분단의 고통을 이겨내고 마침내 봄을 맞이한다는 굳은 의지를 담아 표현한다.
그리고 마지막 에필로그에서는 ‘봄의 소원’을 주제로 전 출연진이 무대에 올라 재회와 염원이라는 두 가지 메시지로 대망의 피날레를 펼친다.
한편, 용인민예총은 <RE:UNI_ON 예술판-소리> 공연 외에도
남북 청년 예술가들의 협업 과정과 인터뷰를 담은
다큐멘터리 ‘침묵을 깨고 다시 연결되는 이야기’를 제작해 상영한다.
다큐멘터리는 오는 12월 10일에 KU 시네마테크에서 오프라인 상영회를 가지며,
12월 12일부터 4주간 온라인 플랫폼 ‘퍼플레이(Purplay)’를 통해 상영될 예정이다.
본 프로젝트는 용인민예총이 주최 · 주관하고 재단법인 통일과 나눔에서 후원한다.
제작진으로는 연출에 박병건(용인민예총 사무국장), 기획에 김수아(용인민예총 사무차장),
디자인에 케이아트팩토리, 촬영과 제작에는 미디어 로고스가 참여했으며,
출연에는 용인민예총 청년위원회와 평양예술단이 함께했다.
